What are good practices?

Good practices are periodic or one-time projects enabling successful attainment of chosen tasks and goals; they allow for:

  • Effective resource management
  • Adaptation to other organizational structures

Good Practices are: effective, productive and universal.

Good practices provide access to the vast know-how based on international standards of organizations and experts.

Good practice has become part of a new United Nations Development Programme operation mode focused on propagating knowledge through good, well tested practices.
