Complex gynaecological care for women living with HIV/AIDS and drug addicted

AIDS Diagnostics and Treatment Centre, which co-operates with the clinic, at the moment assures medical care for 500 women living with HIV. The Clinic provides prenatal care for pregnant living with HIV/AIDS (AIDS Diagnostics and Treatment Centre), gynaecological care for women living with HIV and infected with HPV (Colposcopy and Neck of the uterus Pathologies Centre) and prenatal care for pregnant drug addicts and/or pregnant on methadone therapy, as well as medical care for infants of drug addicted and/or living with HIV women.

Goal

  • mother to child HIV transmission prophylaxis
  • medical care for women with HIV/HPV (neck of the uterus cancer prophylaxis)

Procedures are consistent with modern, international standards in the area of ARV treatment during the pregnancy, delivery procedures and infants treatment.
