Nationl HIV/AIDS action plan

The National AIDS Centre offers education, research and support in HIV/AIDS-related matters.

  • the Centre's educational activity covers the preparation and organization of training courses for diverse social and professional groups (physicians, instructors, etc.)
  • it also cooperates with the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Justice, co-financing their training programmes for teachers and prison staff
  • The National AIDS Centre publishes a broad choice on cost-free educational materials which are distributed to various interest groups. These include info material and manuals for PLWHA as well as brochures addressed to young people, soldiers, prisoners, ctors, nurses, medical students and clerics.
  • The Centre also conducts sociological studies on public attitudes to HIV/AIDS prevention. The Centre provides essential and financial aid to HIV prevention and PLWHA care and treatment projects.
